I'm graduating....

I'm graduating...!?

Thursday, April 03, 2008

OOOOooo! I love this quote.

"You'll come to see that a man learns nothing from winning. The act of losing, however, can elicit great wisdom. Not least of which is how much more enjoyable it is to win. It's inevitable to lose now and again. The trick is not to make a habit of it." - Henry Skinner

I've decided that I'm actually a competitive person (some of the time...) after years of thinking I just wasn't...

sans hullabaloo

Hello All!
Just wanted to say hey -- I have to study, but found myself wandering over to xanga to jot a quick post. It's a gorgeous day here in Trinity and you are all in my thoughts because this is the sort of day that makes one feel reflective and contemplative... am esconsed in the Trinity library and wishing you all good things.
xoxo.

yuck

On the whole, I adore my new room at my new school. But one thing that is REALLY different from my fond memories of my time at MHC and now is that (prepare yourself) SOMEONE BLOODY THREW UP RIGHT OUTSIDE MY DOOR!  Yep. A total stranger. It reeks. Pity your poor friend who has moved her plant and her fan to right near the threshold of the room on the theory that the plant will, um, absorb the smell, and at any rate the fan will blow it back outside. (It was cleaned up by the friends of the aforementioned person, which was good of them, but what really gets me is that it's only Thursday....)

Is this true?

You Are a Soy Latte
At your best, you are: free spirited, down to earth, and relaxed

At your worst, you are: dogmatic and picky

You drink coffee when: you need a pick me up, and green tea isn't cutting it

Your caffeine addiction level: medium

I've never had a soy latte, but it's quite true that I drink coffee when I need a pick me up.
